Bloody Monday Season 2 - Chapter 1 & 2

Hooray for one of my favorite shounen series mindf*cking me as usual!!!
LOLz~
Anyway, we have a new terrorists group, and the revelation of some of its members were really shocking! And I also wonder how our main character could still maintain his position as one for being so helpless! I'm happy to see the other main characters of the previous season of course. I'm loving the new ones too!
And storywise, as usual it's awesome in every chapter and has a plot twist that drives me crazy! I really love it that this manga always shows what I don't expect!

I'm not sure if the new villains of this series will be an occult type, but I hope it won't be . . . because it sucks if the main villains would be too similar as last season's. I like it that the leader of this one is released earlier, and he's much more threatening than the previous one.
But won't he have something attached to him that will make him trackable? Like the leader of the previous season? If that isn't brought up . . .that sucks.
Anyway, if I have religious reference stuff form the bad guys of the previous season, this time I have fictional characters references! Beast, Snow White, King Arthur (Okay, he's not exactly fictional), and Peter Pan!!! Oh I love their codenames!!!! I also find it so cool that the bad guys are having their way in these early chapters~ I can't imagine how the current protagonists will counter this unless a new hero arrives.

It's really a big surprise that Takagi's involved in this! How could an anti-terrorist person be a former terrorist that will return to being one again? It just didn't make sense . . . At first I thought that dude just had Takagi's face . . . but he seems to be the real thing!
Kanou and Kirishima are part of it too! I thought Kirishima was the one at Third-i with a different hairstyle. Damn, he's no longer cute. But they really seem to be righteous people. It's so odd for them to become bad guys all of a sudden. Unless they were brainwashed or something. Oh I want an explanation!!! Next chapters, hurry!!!

I'm relieved that Fujimaru didn't instantly get himself involved with this case and magically have his skills back even though he hasn't touched a computer for years. As he says, skills can get rusted if you don't do something often.
I really like this twist~ And it appears that Otoya and Aoi respect his decision. What are friends for? Hehe~
But I think he still has the position of a main character. I think he'll still go back to hacking (might be quite of a problem though because his dad will be the enemy this time). I'm curious on what the mangaka has in mind for this~

Oh yeah, there's a new character in this series and I have mistaken her for Haruka. Ehehehe. So she's just Fujimaru's co-worker.
She's pretty. . . and for a hyperactive student she makes herself updated with serious news.
I already like her. I wish she's going to be a main character! (And I think I'll ship her with Fujimaru. Hehehehe~)
I don't get that part though. She suddenly stared at him worriedly after he said that it was "fine". Or perhaps she sees that he's not really okay. Oh whatever . . .

I WANT NEXT CHAPTERS!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!! WHEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
AND PLEASE LET J AND CO. RETURN IN THIS SEASON!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

Axis Powers Hetalia - Episode 39

Today is my younger brother's birthday! But he's at the province so I just sent him a text message.
Sapphire Pyro: HEY FATSO! You seriously got older today or your tummy just got bigger?
Dragon Kid: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! shut up...
Sapphire Pyro: Happy birthday!!! *hugs and tickles gigantic tummy*
Dragon Kid: DAMN YOU! Thanks for the greeting though. Love you all!
That's sibling love. Bwahehehehehe~

Speaking of sibling love, The nation-tans meet a baby brother in this episode as well~
Too bad Berwald didn't show up. But at least Antonio and Holland were there; with extra HRE and Chibitalia moment. Those with a lot of scenes are Tino, Francis, and of course, Arthur, and the star of the episode: BABY ALFRED!

(UPDATE 1: Other parts added!)
(UPDATE 2: The bigger screencaps added!)

I thought the Chibitalia episodes were over but it looks like we get more of these two babies in this episode. I prefer that the anime staff added the bit with Berwald instead T_T Or maybe it would be too long for the time limit? So they added something baby-related instead?

HRE: Chibitalia, will you unite with me?
It's a guess . . . I am lazy to find the strip it was based . . .

I'm beginning to be freaked out with HRE's OBSESSION with Chibitalia but . . . he's so cute~

HRE: I promise you. I'll definitely make you happy!
Chibitalia: *nods*

HRE's face is kinda perverted. LOLz! And we see the kiss again.
It's wrong in so many ways. Hahaha! Ah well, HRE is understandable since he thinks Chibitalia's female. While Chibitalia is . . . totally gay. Hahahaha!

HRE wakes up as soon as the clock alarmed. (There are already alarm clocks in those times?)
We see HRE without his cap! SEE HOW MUCH HE LOOKS LIKE A BABY LUDWIG????

HRE: A dream?

Okay, now to the actual story of the episode:

Sadly the didn't add the part with Berwald and Tino trying to seduce following Baby Alfred.

Sweden and Finland, together with German mercenaries, continued to pioneer the North American continent and created a colony, New Sweden. (It's currently in the state of Delaware.) In their overenthusiasm, however, they provoked the nearby Dutch settlement and called in a fierce attack from the Dutch forces. Sweden and Finland were beaten, their territory and houses taken, and they were chased away from the new continent.

Sweden's hopes and dreams for America were lost without a trace : the tragic fate of the Swedish dominion.

Tino: Guys! Please listen! It's really really horrible!

Francis: Hey Tino, what's the matter?
Arthur: Did you trip over again somewhere and make a grand scene?
AGAIN???? Hahahaha! So Tino made a grand scene before by being clumsy? LOLz~

Tino: No! Su-san and I were just trying to make a holiday home in America! But Holland-san came and took all of it!
"Su-san" sounds cuter than "Ber-san". Hehehehe. I'll stick to how Tino really calls him.

Arthur: Oh, that must've been bad.
Francis: Yeah, really bad.

Arthur and Francis (thoughts): It'll all be mine eventually anyway...
OH YOU TWO ARE SO EVIL!!!!!!! *hugs*
Tino: It's not just that!

Tino: A strange boy appeared when we were there...and he wasn't from the neighbouring villages. (We were a day away from the nearest town)
Holland: Bwahahahahahha!
Tino: I'm just worried if he'd be okay if Holland-san finds him.
HOLLAND'S EVIL LAUGH IS SO FREAKY!!! IT ROCKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

Arthur: Hmm? A boy? He came out from that stupidly huge wilderness by himself?
Tino: Yes, yes he did! So we thought it was a bit strange.
Arthur . . . what's with that pose? It's . . . it's . . . sexy~

Francis: Hey, wait a minute! Did the kid pop out around you and Berwald?
Tino: Yes, he was really cute.
Francis really looks younger . . . while Arthur didn't look that different.

Francis: Th-that means, maybe the kid's the same as us. Don't you think?
Tino: Ah! That's a possibility, I guess.
Arthur: Our kind in the New World? That means . . .

Arthur, Francis, and Tino: Our little brother~
PEDOS AND THEIR DAYDREAMING!!!!!

Arthur: Hold it! He's got to be my little brother, you twit!
Francis: Oh, no! He absolutely positively has to be my brother!
Tino: Eeeeeeek!
Those two are fighting again~ It was honestly weirder to see them fishing together earlier. Haha!

Now they go to the said baby boy:

BABY BEHIND THE BUSHES LOOKING LEFT AND RIGHT WITH CUTE SOUND EFFECTS IS JUST . . . . KYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sent to the hospital because of diabetes*

Francis: H-hey Tino! Could that be the chap?
Tino: Yes! I think he is...
Arthur: So he really is one of us! He's got that same feeling! So tiny.
ARTHUR CAN FEEL IT.

Arthur: See, Francis? His hair and stuff looks just like mine! He's undoubtedly my brother!
Francis: No~ That part looks like me. Look at his shoulders! We're two peas in a pod! Look! That proves that he's my brother!
THE BABY LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE TWO OF YOU PERVERTS!!!!!!
Except for Francis' eyes I guess.

( hilarious caption by ahmerst of LJ )
BWAHAHHAHAHAAHA!!!!!! THEY STARE AT THE KID LIKE A PAIR OF PEDOPHILES!!!!!!!!

Pedo victim's scared reaction.
Poor darling~ *huggles*

For some reason, these two nodded to each other. PEOPLE WITH INNOCENT FACES HAVE SOME SECRET LANGUAGE OR SOMETHING????

Tino: Umm . . .does he look like me at all?
You two are freakin' alike at the moment but when that boy grows up, he's totally nothing like you. Totally.

Arthur: Ah-no, no. You can't judge these things by faces and the like.
Francis: Instead of likeness, what's important is love! The depths of your love say it all!
Tino: Eh~
The duo cannot admit it~ Hahaha!
BUT YOU TWO ARE THE TWINS' PARENTS FOR ME!!! KYAAAAAAA!!!!!

HOORAY FOR THE LAST PART FOR BEING SO . . . . DAAAAAAAAAAWW:

Arthur: Hahahaha... I'm as busy as a bee, but I gave up my valuable nap to see you! You'd better thank me for it!
What's with the maniacal evil laugh if you're sacrificing your time for someone's sake, Arthur? Hahaha! You are still one of the best in doing evil laughs in this series~

Baby Alfred: Ah... You came. I'm glad you did.
EVERY SCENE OF BABY ALFRED WITH A BUNNY IS FREAKIN' CUTE AND MUST BE STARED AT!!!!!!

Arthur: Huh?
So this is the close-up of Arthur's face while approaching Baby Alfred. Maniacal, see? Totally has malicious intent~

Arthur: What, you're not going to run away?
And he was definitely expecting his PREY to be scared of him because he was surprised that Baby Alfred didn't run away.

Baby Alfred: Mm, I'm fine. I've figured out a lot about myself lately.
Arthur: I... I see.
Beautiful. . . .

Arthur: Umm. I'm glad to see you too. You really grew up so fast.
Handsome....

Cute...

Arthur: All right! This greatly simplifies things! Henceforth, you're my little brother!
BABY ALFRED WAS EASILY CLAIMED!!!!!!!

Baby Alfred: Mm~ Then I should call you "Onii-chan", right?
*DIES FROM CUTENESS OVERLOAD*

Arthur: M..Me? Onii-chan?
*DIES AGAIN FROM BLUSHING ADORABLENESS*

Scotland: You rotten little brother!
Arthur: Eek!
Kid Francis: From today, you're my servant!
Antonio: I'll get you back for this!
English guy: Umm..Sir, this just came from your brother.
Henry VIII(?): I want to marry young girls, so I'll change the rules of the church and state!
It appears that Arthur has been abused by his "Onii-chan"s...

Arthur: An Oniichan...?
He doesn't want to be like that to his new baby, yes? People from abusive families sometimes grow up to be the opposite from their parents because they don't want their children to go through what they did. (Like my mom~ I love her.)

Arthur: Ah, no... Just "Arthur" is fine... That's enough for me, so...
THIS IS JUST SO TOUCHING!!!! *hugs Arthur*
He has no idea that baby Alfred just made a step to be even closer to him. Arthur's a clueless tsundere however . . . *sighs*

Baby Alfred: M..mmm...
It looks like Baby Alfred got worried if what he said was wrong. YOU POOR BABY!!! YOU DID NOTHING WRONG DEARY!!!! ARTHUR'S JUST AN IDIOT! *huggles Baby Alfred*

How could Hetalia make history this silly and cute??? Hahaha! Anyway, I believe this is based on the European colonization of the Americas. Learn more from Wikipedia or if you want a simpler article, try Social Studies for Kids. Since English people made the first permanent settlement, no wonder Hetalia made Alfred choose Arthur~ Hehehehe~

By the way, this episode was subbed really fast! Perhaps the subbers are US/UK shippers. haha! Anyway, here's a batch of screencaps of Alfred and Arthur in this episode. They are larger versions of the ones posted here, while some aren't even included in this post at all. And here's a version of screencaps including ones that aren't Arthur or Alfred. Hehe. I also placed there the ones with close-ups, or look nice, etc.

A FAVOR TO THOSE WHO WILL COMMENT:
You don't need to be a member of Blogger, Google, OpenID, LiveJournal, etc. to comment with your name. Just choose the option to include it.
Or if you're lazy to do so, just leave your name at the end of the message.
Not that I dislike Anonymous commentors. . . it just makes me dizzy to reply. I had experienced counting from Anonymous 1 to 10 x_x
That's all. Love you all and let's go fan crazy together~

Notes:
~ Translations are based on scanlations; so credits on those goes to the respective translators. Some are slightly edited though based on what I understand of the anime changes.
~ It's awkward to go fangurl over nation names so I use their human names:
[ NAME LEGEND ] Alfred (America), Arthur (England), Francis (France), Tino (Finland), Berwald (Sweden), Antonio (Spain)

Quick Impressions ft. Trapeze

I checked out most of the shows from this season, most through spoilers though. But still, it's my way of giving them a chance. Anyway, since I've been doing so, why not post spoiler impressions about them? Hehe. I can only cover a maximum of 3 series however, so I won't be posting more of these shows after their debut in the "Quick Impressions" posts. Hopefully xtine06 or ninjovee could~

Anyway, whatever I will feature with a screencap would be the one I actually watched while with the others I didn't bother to watch anymore...

[ Trapeze - Episode 1 ]

I find it odd that I didn't appreciate the OP and ED when I first watched them, but on second try it easily grew on me! I like the scenes of the OP and the song in the ED.
The best music are the background tracks though. REALLY AMAZING!
And of course, the episode itself was as cool as I've expected it to be!
I love the creativity in this show. It's so weird and colorful. Those many colors had somehow emphasized how bizzare and crazy this show is. We're dealing with mental diseases after all, and it fits the show! The live-action and animation mix had been pretty nice too! I admit it took me a while to get used to, but now I keep on praising on how cool it looked~
Also, this had been so hilarious! I don't mind the obvious fanservice if it's more focused on the twisted humor~ And I find it fun that the one who is treating patients with mental problems seems to be retarded in a way as well. And there are more weirdoes in this show . . . like the yakuza who speaks abnormally . . .the other poking himself uncontrollably with a pencil, and there's this dude who's always nervous and stuck in some position, and what kind of a nurse was that?! Hahahaha! This is so crazy, I love it~
The trivia and the cases here had been very interesting too! It had been amusing and pretty educational at the same time.
Unfortunately, unlike what I had planned, I don't think I can blog this show. Hetalia, Blue Lit, and Bantorra already take a lot of my time . . . so I guess I'll need to stop adding shows that I'll cover on a weekly basis. Lots of other blogs are interested on this anyway~

[ SPOILER IMPRESSIONS ]
Seen screencaps, skimmed summaries, and seen the OP and ED themes (if available)

= Fairy Tail; KIDDY Girl - AND; Thriller Restaurant =

= Fairy Tail =
Honestly, if I didn't know the manga, I would have considered this a generic shounen crap. The anime seemed to be some Naruto or One Piece wannabe with the typical OP and ED themes that make me sick so much. However, it screams mainstream, so a lot of people will buy that. Fairy Tail is going to be one of those shows that keep on going and going, with some stupid fillers, and going and going like it'll never end. Unless the manga ends soon, which doesn't seem likely.
Bigger pain for me was seeing an animated Plue. It was easier to ignore that despicable creature in the manga. The greatest damnation however was how Jeral/Gerard looked in the OP. He was FUGLY though he was such a bishie in the manga. A BISHIE. There's no such thing as a fugly bishie. Damn. At least Gray didn't look bad. BUT STILL!
I admit some animation looked nice. And I'll always be in love with the voices of Kakihara Tetsuya and Yuuichi Nakamura.
Bah . . .no matter how much I loved the manga, it's still generic shounen crap. I'll jsut watch the Gray and Jeral/Gerard arc, and that's it. Why are the mainstream shounen only great in very few arcs? (With Bleach, after the awesome SS arc, later ones had been WTF).

= KIDDY Girl - AND =
The OP was just recycled scenes of the episode and the song wasn't anywhere near great either. I didn't bother to check out the ED anymore, because seeing the OP and the screenshots were already a pain. All I see is a fighting maido with some girl-friends and they fight for justice whatever. And there's the fanservice I'm not fond of. And I really really can't stand leading females who act tough and all but actually have some cute and clumsy side. Oh just die.
Ah well, it appears to be a sequel anyway so I don't think I'll be able to relate much to what's going on in this series. I've heard that fans of this series admit that it's indeed crap in the earlier episodes but will later get better. Ah well, even if that's true, I'd like to save myself from headaches.

= Thriller Restaurant =
I see people likening this to Goosebumps, and it sure does seem like a Japan!Goosebumps. I was a fan of the series (I like the self-adventure ones . . . the ones wherein you make decisions on what happens next . . I also like other R.L. Stine series such as Fear Street). This series made me nostalgic~
Anyway, it doesn't seem to be stupid like I expected it to be. It seems to be a good horror series for kids. The glasses girl annoys me though. I might have enjoyed this if she didn't exist. I don't hate megane girls but . . . for some reason many anime megane girls have been the pathetic types. Uggghh . . .

DOGS: stray dogs howling in the dark - Episode 4 [END]

Finally! The last episode! And it's based on my favorite chapters of the manga!

WHY NO SLEEPING HAINE??? Hahahahha!

Anyway, it wasn't bad, but not that great either. Or maybe my expectations had been too high because it's based on my favorite chapter and had my top favorite characters in it. But still . . . oh well, at least it wasn't horrible. Still a nice job, david production!

This focuses on the series' main character: Haine (I'm more used to that spelling). It also showed how he met a supporting character: Nill.
At first he didn't give a damn when he saw her because he thought that she's just one of those escaped prostitutes that he sees often. But he thought of saving her when he sees that she had wings.
They had an awkward moment at the apartment they stayed in. It was so cute to watch Haine trying to socialize with her (he's supposed to be the anti-social type, haha!). Then he realizes that she actually can't speak. So she's one of those genetically modified beings that will possess something not normal to humans but something will be taken from them in return, like him. Though I'm not yet sure what exactly Haine's defect is, but he's definitely a genetically modified being like her . . .and he had been like that since he was a kid. When he was thinking of this, the girl tried to comfort him but he shoved her away because he has phobia on women. Though he has such a phobia, there's actually a girl whose memory pains him so much. In the ongoing manga series it had been shown that Lily was also like him, but how exactly her loss left him on such a trauma isn't clear to me yet.
Anyway, unfortunately, the bad guys have tracked them (shows that Haine's not that skillful in hiding. Haha! Ah well, as if he'll have to worry about dying anyway). He was shot dead and the girl was taken away.

Afterwards, Haine had like risen from the dead. He changed clothes, took weapons . . .and Badou as well! Haha!
He went to rescue the girl like a knight in shining armour~
He was supposed to be defeated again, but with his regeneration abilities, the other dude didn't stand a chance.
So the girl was saved and she was brought to the lolicon bishop~ Haha! Too bad it wasn't added in the anime that though she won't be with Haine, he'll still be visiting her form time to time. That's how close they've become~ Ohohohoho~

So about Haine . . .

I believe one of the reasons why this was entitled "DOGS" is because of the collar-like thing on his neck. Such a nasty looking one . . .

And about the girl . .

Her name is Nill and she looks pretty in this episode BUT NOT AS PRETTY AS THE MANGA!!! WHY???!!! And what have they done to her character? I don't recall her fainting . . . and she SHOULD have had a strong and angry expression at the dude who claims to own her after what he had done to Haine. She is a strong girl but they amde her some damsel-in-distress!!!! Uuuuugggghhh . . . . good thing I've read the manga first. I would've disliked Nill if I saw her this way first. Roar . . .

Anyway, they're not exactly my favorite couple but they're so sweet together:

Haine is now okay being touched by Nill, even though she's a girl. Since he now feels easy with her, she now tries to tell him her name through his hand. For someone who can't speak, fortunately she had learned how to spell.
Starting from this they have been suuuuuuuuuuper close and touchy-touchy (oh they hold hands when just walking around, she places her hand on his cheeks to comfort him, and so on~)

And for the crack in this episode:

Oh I freakin' love this duo~
Badou had been complaining to Haine for his lack of sense of teamwork. Then Haine forced him to help him claiming that it's "teamwork". He even took the cigarette for Badou to be pissed enough and get his gunfighting talent out. Haha! Poor Badou . . .so abused~ He had been funny in the end too, asking if he can go home already. Haha!

The twisted part in this episode:

OH GIOVIANNI YOU ARE SO CREEPY I LOVE IT!
Giovanni's a unique individual like Haine, and they've know each other for a long time. Giovanni has some creepy obsession with him though (reminds me of Black Cat's Creed, but Giovanni's still creepier~). He's also been urging Haine to join the underworld. And then he disappears. So wtf. Haha!

Now about this episode as a whole:

I have nothing to complain about the story even if I put the bias aside, because it's just that cool~ But I'm not that please with the anime changes (I'm fine with the parts they didn't include since this arc has been longer compare to the first 3, but not the changes! What have they done to Nill's character!!! Uggghhh).
With the animation, some looked cool, some looked weird.
The animation directing was actually good, but I'm not that pleased with the action parts for some reason . . .
I'm also not that pleased with the voice acting of Haine's and Nill's seiyuus . . . not that they're horrible . . . but still . . . compare to the drama cd version, the level difference is just too big. The drama cd version of this story was so much better! So I'm very surprised why the anime voice acting didn't seem as good if the seiyuus are actually the same. What the hell . . .

Still, I've been satisfied with this episode, though I have to admit I'm quite disappointed. Of all episodes that will be ruined, why the best one?! Uuuggghh . . .
