Seikimatsu Occult Academy - Opening Theme References

I am a huge sucker for occult references, and the opening theme of this series already has TONS of it. They aren't just colorful and various visuals, almost all the imagery in this less-than-2-minutes video is a symbolism!

(supposed to be the opening video but youtube removed it so *sigh*)
I'm no occult expert, but it certainly interests me. I tried to do a little research and I was able to identify a number of them~

#1
Hampton Court Palace Clock (left) and Prague Orloj (right)
Both are Astronomical Clocks. The former is an early example of a post-Copernican astronomical clock while the second one is considered a primitive planetarium that displays the current state of the universe.

#2
2012 Phenomenon
Apocalyptic predictions, like what the Mayan Long Count Calendar dictates, the end of the world will occur on an exact date: December 21, 2012

#3
1999 Doomsday
A prophecy from Nostradamus which was interpreted that the end of the world will occur on year 1999.

#4
Eye of Providence
Also known as the "all-seeing eye of God" or "Eye of Horus" or "Eye of the World". The imagery can be traced in Egyptian mythology, Buddhism, and even Christianism.
Without the triangle though, it's more similar to the Masonic version.
But the Masonic version has rays.... so I'm beginning to have doubts on this. If it's not a religious type, then most likely it's a psychic type.

#5
Stonehenge
A prehistoric monument in England shrouded with mystery. It's believed to be a temple for sun worship, a healing center, a burial site or a huge calendar.

#6
I CAN'T REMEMBER BUT IT'S FREAKIN' FAMILIAR!!!!!! Thanks to the first Anonymous commenter for the clue!
Moai
Also identified as the "Easter Island heads". These are monolithic human figures carved from rock on the Polynesian island of Easter Island. These are considered as living faces of deified ancestors... and it had some interesting history dealing with tribes.

#7
Psychokinesis: Spoon Bending
It is the act of deforming objects without depending on physical force. It has become a popular form of stage magic.

#8
Virtruvian Man
Also called "Canon of Proportions" or "Proportions of Man". It's a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci based on correlations of ideal human proportions.
To be honest I'm not sure what's occult in it.... it's more of.... mathematical or human anatomy-related.
But thanks to abandonedfactory, I think I get it now. It's occult in a sense that it's considered "divine mathematics" and acts as a sybolism to principles which are considered occult during those times. The image presents the essential symmetry of the human body and also of the universe as a whole.
I shouldn't have wondered about its "occultness" for I remember seeing it in a Dan Brown book. Ahahaha...

#9
Wiccan Pentacle
It has been mentioned that symbols of a pentagram star within a circle is under Wiccan religion.

#10
Ouroboros Circle
Also known as Uroborus. It represents cyclicality and is often associated with Alchemy, Hermeticism, and especially Gnosticism.

#11
I have no idea.... skull worship possibly?
That's my guess.... while Anonymous 2 has a similar idea but something more specific. There's the possibility of it being connected to Illuminanti/Freemasonry because they also engage in skull worship. There's also the possibility for it to be connected to the Order of Skull and Bones, which is a secret society at Yale University... there had been several rumors about this mysterious group.

#12
Some sort of Bilocation?
Silver Lunar points out that it's similar to what happens to Super Mario when he uses a Power Star in the Super Mario Galaxy game.
Thanks to that, we are getting closer to what it might be based on. I still couldn't figure out what it's specifically based on but for sure it has something to do with space and dimensions... or to be a little more particular, it's some sort of human space/galaxy/universe travelling. The four rainbow-like colored errr... personas/embodiments/entities/divisions/whatever is a clue.... but drats I don't get it.

#13
UFO Symbol
It's an underside of a UFO seen in 1967 in Spain, and a similar incident of the same year in Russia reported that a man noticed a "ray of light" emanating form the underside of the UFO above him. I like the url of the other source xD

#14
I'm not sure but the checkerboard background might have an occult meaning.
Anonymous 2 mentions that checkerboard background is often used in paintings related to Illuminanti/FreemasonryMasonic Lodges. I'm still trying to find such paintings...

#15
I'm not sure but the gold symbol in the middle looks like a Nine-pointed Star (a common symbol in Bahá'í Faith).
The shining illuminating light blue image in the middle looks like a UFO sign/writing/symbol or something....
The eyes, I'm not sure if they're types of Eyes of Providence as well.
As for the others, they look like Hindu gods to me, one of them having Swastika-like symbols. (statue with four symbols on chest on the lower left side). Valence points out that they're more similar to the symbols of the Buddhism or Taoism counterparts.

#16
The cards that Fumiaki is stepping on are Zener cards which are used to conduct ESP experiments.
Those things on the upper right seem like flying saucers to me.
The snake on the same side reminded me of Caduceus.
The figure on the upper left looks like a solar deity.... might be Ra or Horus?
The rest seem to have a connection to Hinduism or Egyptian or Greek or Aztec mythology.

#17
If only the insect/creature could be identified... it's hard to tell. The series will most likely reveal this later.
But after seeing episode 2, it seems to be anime original. An original ALIEN in particular.
But as wanderingdreamr said, it could be the Mothman.

#18
The shape of the staircase is familiar but I can't identify.... but thanks to cilia, it might be referring to the Cosmic Serpent and its associated with shamans. I think more could be figured out on the serpent imagery in this opening theme once I've read more from this article.
The fetus is possibly based on da Vinci's drawing.
The eye in this part is definitely a type of Eye of Providence.
As for the mask in the background, thanks to cilia, I think it's safe to conclude that it's an Olmec-style jade face mask... I haven't read much about it yet but having something to do with Aztec and ancient African culture is occult enough for me. Hehe
Those above are most likely Hindu gods.... but I can't be certain because I couldn't see clearly.
The rest look unfamiliar. There are several Asian faces here (Valence points the possibility of them being Buddhist statues)... and those body parts make me think of Greek statues....

#19
The figure beside Maya looks similar to Sekhmet, an Egyptian warrior goddess.

#20
Latin Chant from The Omen
"Sanguis bibimus, corpus edimus, tolle corpus Satani" which means "We drink the blood, we eat the flesh, raise the body of Satan". On the lowest parts, it's written "Ave Satani" which means "Hail Satan".
As for the eye, I'm not certain.

#21
Collective Invention by René Magritte
Big thanks to wanderingdreamr and Shiroi Hane for poiting this out. The artist seems to be popular in creating surreal paintings. I haven't heard of the artist until I've looked this up. Now, I really really like his works *_* I can't find articles that provide explanations/meanings/whatever on the painting though.
There's actually a rumor of the "real" thing by the way. There had been a breaking news about a fish with human legs washed up on a Galveston, Texas beach.
I have not seen articles relating to mythological creatures with a fish head and human legs. Neither have I read anything that considers it as a type of mermaid.

#22
Familiar but can't recall....the symbol on the forehead must be a clue. But I really can't recall x_x Thanks to Dop for sharing the original illustration and mentioning the reference!
So it's a portrait of Aleister Crowley and he claims to be the Great Beast prophesized in the Book of Revelation (666 is the Number of the Beast) and took the name “Το μεγα θηριον” ("To Mega Therion"), Greek for “The Great Beast”.

#23
Possibly some Astral Projection phenomenon? They are emitting some aura and they're not exactly in the real/physical world...

#24
Heliocentrism
An astronimical model wherein the sun is presented as the center of the universe while the other planets revolve around it. It was first proposed by Aristarchus of Samosand in much later years presented using a telescope by Galileo Galilei.

Others: Valence says that in Chinese, the title "Seikimatsu" means "End of the World". Fits the main plot~

I may have made mistakes or wrong assumptions so feel free to correct me. I definitely missed a lot of things so if you can add, please do. I'll update this when I've familiarized myself with the other unknown references~ ^^

Apology to horrible screencap merging by the way. It's really tough to do it on some parts. And though screencapping with subs annoy me, I don't think I have time to get the RAW, so there xD Hehe.

All the freakin' initial research done by me in several hours (because I got lazy to continue on and gave up on what I couldn't find or figure out). References cited, others based on memory. If recognition of occult reference isn't by me, he/she will be credited for it naturally. If I forgot something else.... blame my forgetfulness ^^; Ahahahaha....

Sengoku Basara - Episode 13 (OVA)

I've decided that I should watch this already because the first episode of the second season premieres today xD Hehe.
I admit that I wasn't that hyped for this OVA because the original main duo doesn't exactly have a role on this scene. Nevertheless, it was still a fun watch!

  • Chosokabe is sooooooooo like Masamune except that he doesn't say Engrish and he doesn't have a super duper loyal right hand man.
  • Mori, on the other hand, is such a cruel bastard for a character who eventually sides with the protagonists. And he still doesn't admit that he had thoguht of doing something decent after Keiji had totally gotten some sense into him during that moment. You tsun tsun.
  • The new main duo had an awesome battle~ So many flashy moves. Yay flame power and sharp hoolahoop. Haha!
  • I knew Keiji won't die even when he got shot thanks to main character immunity.... but at least he got shot with those many arrows. In some series, for some reason main characters don't get hit at all no matter how many long distance weapons (such as guns and arrows) had hit them =_=
  • I salute to Keiji's hardwork in making these two idiots work together.
  • Mori's comment on not wanting a monkey as a witness for Keiji amused me so much xD
  • Keiji's such a darling brother to Matsu.
  • Matsu rocks. She's acknowledged as a female with guts. I love it when women are presented as badass in a series like this. They're not just hostage materials!
  • Her husband is too nice~
  • Was it just me or the food that they were eating had.... faces? WHUT... bwahahhahahaha.....
  • Kasuga was cute~
  • Chosokabe's comment on the main duo being not capable of defeating Nobunaga if they get hit by th canons... LOLz
  • WHY HADN'T THEY APPEARED ON THE MAIN SERIES!!! I at least want Chosokabe to meet Masamune and/or Yukimura xD Hehehehehe (Mori's too evil. Yukimura won't ever understand him)

HELLO MY FAVORITE DUO!!! I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!
I AM SO EXCITED FOR SEASON 2 xD

Summer 2010 1st Impressions: Lotsa Youkai + Lotsa Corpses (Extra: Nabari no Ou Manga End)

This season isn't exactly popular in introducing a lot of cool shows (like Spring and Autumn), however, among the crap, there's usually several rare gems in the Summer season (Heck, Baccano! was a summer series!) so I'm checking them out to find myself some from this year. But before that:

According to ANN, the Nabari no Ou manga will end in volume 14.... so that's one volume to go. And it means I need to catch up on this already.... hehehehehehe.
I love this manga but the recent events are jsut so.... whut. My only concern is Koichi x Raimei, and if my OTP isn't going to happen in the end, I will be depressed ;_; OH COME ON!!! IT'S NOT THAT OFTEN FOR ME TO BEG FOR A LOVE STORY SO MAKE THEM CANON DAMNIT!!!!

Now, the next two Summer 2010 series that I've checked out so far:
[ Nurarihyon no Mago ] the more youkai the better~
[ Shiki ] the more corpses the better~

[ Nurarihyon no Mago ]

(MY GODDESS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!)
I am pleased with how the anime turned out but I NEED to complain about this: WHY IS KANA THE EMPHASIZED LEADING LADY????
Ugh, FINE, maybe this is just my bias, BUT YUKI ONNA IS THE LEADING LADY OF THIS SERIES TO ME!!!!! She has a BIGGER role compare to Kana, more screentime even, more involvement in the arcs naturally, AND SHE HAS PROTECTED HIM AS OFTEN AS RIKUO PROTECTED HER. THAT'S WHAT THE SHOUNEN LEADING LADY SHOULD BE AND NOT SOME DAMSEL-IN-DISTRESS STEREOTYPE..... GROAR!
I don't really hate Kana (even if she's sooooooooooo useless; it's obvious in the OP and ED that she doesn't have anything cool to show, aside from her prettiness... whut duh), but if she's gonna be getting more special treatment compare to my goddess, I MUST RANT!!!!!!!!
Yuki Onna >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kanna.
ANIME, STOP SHIPPING RIKUO x KANA!!!! IT HURTS MY EYES!!!!!!! (Yeah, I hate that freakin' pairing but that doesn't mean I hate the shippers)
And the ED.... oh gawd. It's cute, but KANA IS IN THE MIDDLE!!!! Middle person is the special one so.... BLEGH! KANA, YOU SHOULD SWITCH PLACES WITH YUKI ONNA DAMNIT!!!! GO AWAY!!! SHOOOOO!!!! MY GODDESS IS BETTER THAN YOU IN EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel stupid for being bothered with little things but.... uuuggghh.... I still want to rant: GO DISAPPEAR KANA!!! I WANT MORE OF MY GODDESS DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!! xD

(ME LOVES YOUKAI!RIKUO~)
*ehem* Okay, back to the show. So the anime adaptation of one of the few mainstream shounen manga that I still follow currently has finally aired. It made a lot of changes from how the manga started and was narrated. It's a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. Some changes didn't seem appropriate for me because it hadn't been that clear on how rare it was for Rikuo to switch to his youkai form unless you're familiar with the manga. Yes, it was mentioned in the anime, but since the anime features youkai!Rikuo from the very beginning, it didn't feel like it x_x I also think it would have been better if the events of what happened 4 years ago had been shown in the first episode (doesn't have to be the whole story. Even just shorten it or just show the important scenes). I think it'll be easier to understand the series with that.
On the bright side, it doesn't seem that the anime will show much of the school-related arcs because Gyuki's case has been featured as early as episode 1. In other words, it looks like the anime's going to focus on the main arcs, and not much on the "filler/school" arcs.... which is a BIG RELIEF to me!!!! Most of its flaws are presented in those dull arcs (even if they're very comedic). Hopefully the news of it being just 20+ episodes isn't true. I want the series to catch up on the recent arc~ (PUH-LEAZE NO ANIME ORIGINAL WITH A RIKUO x KANA ENDING! MY HEAD WILL HURT SO BAD!)
And... hahaha! Since Rikuo is another Jun Fukuyama character, our leading guy sounds like a Lelouch. He uses the same voice when it comes to the "normal/loser" type and the "cool/dark" type. Hehe.
The animation's good. No background music caught my attention though, but as for the OP and ED themes..... well, ED is cute (Rikuo and his harem, LOLz) but the OP.... the visuals are okay but that.... song.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I love this series but I think I'll only prioritize episodes with lots of Yuki Onna or less Kana and the school friends (I love you Kakihara Tetsuya but the character you're playing here is..... not that interesting). Hahahahahha! *so biased*

[ Shiki]

(COOLEST OP IN THE SEASON SO FAR~)
I am sooooooooooooo pleased that the anime staff for this series does know how to present horror stories. It's eerie and creepy, despite the colorful (even awkward for a horror theme) character designs. I also looooove how it presents its story telling and how it executes the intense scenes. It gives off a mystery feeling yet a little spooky. Sweet~ And the music! Not just the OP and ED, the background tracks fit the series sooo much~ It's beautiful~ And of course, the animation has been good. Aniplex hasn't disappointed me ever.

(THE ED HAS A BUTTERFLY!!!! And I've read "Hyper Voice" in the credits, LOLz xD)
I've noticed that many have disliked the characters in the series. I'm not surprised.... I didn't like them at all when I read the first few chapters of the manga either. It makes it seem to me that they're not intended to be likeable in the first place...... Then, that means the mangaka had been successful on that?! If that's really the case, then that's impressive. You don't often encounter series that have characters that don't try hard to be as cool and as likeable as possible (those who try to be such usually result to stereotypes if the creator fails in thinking of something creative). I believe a good story can make up for annoying characters; and I think that had been the case with Shiki because I ended up liking some characters because of their role in the story later even if they hadn't been that appealing in the beginning.
I think the most annoying character that had debuted on the first episode is Megumi. Yeah, I was also annoyed with her. Her constant rants about the village made my head hurt so much. But now I've realized that I could actually appreciate her. Perhaps it's because... I can somehow relate to her.
You see, I'm also.... a city girl xD I can't stay long on the countryside..... and I might've been ranting on a similar way like she is if I live in such a place. I'm not interested in trees and nature.... I prefer technology and gaining access to what's the latest. Don't tell me there aren't other people who feel the same way.
Another thing that I find myself in her is that: what she wants is different from what the rest likes and she's considered odd for it. I TOTALLY KNOW THE FEELING. I'm already in a similar situation just recently.... apparently my crowd is more interested on the movie about a love story with extremely mushy leading characters and the movie that isn't really so bad if only it didn't sound like a fantasy adventure cliche, while I am the only one who desperately wants to see a certain psychological thriller with a very inventive storyline and fantastic out-of-this-world action scenes. So my point is, it's VERY frustrating to be considered weird when what you think is cool isn't the same as what the majority thinks as cool. Blegh. I believe there are others who have had this feeling, right? If yes, then Megumi is feeling the same way you as you do. If you have a similar frustration, whether you show it openly or not, and yet is annoyed with Megumi, it only shows that you don't like your frustrated self either. Negative reactions to characters whose traits are actually similar to your self.... whoa
So, these thoughts on Megumi made me realize that though these characters are annoying, they posses traits that you could actually relate to or can be compared to real people. It sucks, but they're real. I find it awesome in that sense. So in other words, they may appear to be very annoying on the surface but once you analyze and look deeper into their personalities, it turns out that they can actually be appreciated or at least they show that people like such exist in the real world despite it being a fictional series (because for some reason there are characters that are unbelievably annoying. Come on, you know what I mean.)
Overall, this series is very impressive. There is beauty in its ugliness. Don't underestimate it. Go on even if you got annoyed, because it's very incredible. Weird, huh?
Ah well, aside from the good plot and characterizations (development on both is so good as well!) and so on, I also have my bias to this series. YESH, IT'S MY BEST FRIEND PAIRS IN THIS SERIES!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE xD If they'll be having some moments in the anime that weren't in the manga, then I might tune in to the anime *has decided to focus on the manga because it's more recent but... but...*

Summer 2010 1st Impressions: Panties Babe + Dango Chick (Extra: About the Threats to BGHK Staff)

This season isn't exactly popular in introducing a lot of cool shows (like Spring and Autumn), however, among the crap, there's usually several rare gems in the Summer season (Heck, Baccano! was a summer series!) so I'm checking them out to find myself some from this year. But before that:

Anyone else heard about the threats to the anime staff of B Gata H Kei? Ha, even if they have a good purpose, a "threat" is never a good thing. And why target the anime only then when it's based on a manga? Didn't bother with the research? Didn't bother reading more than the synopsis? Didn't bother to watch an episode even? Or if they did, did they get it or only processed the you-know-what scenes on their brains and closed their minds to other things that the show has to deliver? I don't understand extremely conservative and closeminded people who just complain on anything that bothers them at first sight.
But speaking of this series.... I need to marathon this soon. Drats... stuck in episode 4 (or was it 5 x_x)

Now, the next two Summer 2010 series that I've checked out so far:
[ Highschool of the Dead ] leading dude.... off to kill zombies
[ Legend of the Legendary Heroes ] leading dude.... off to find legendary thingies

[ Highschool of the Dead ]

(I wish I could see/do an animated GIF of this.... but then again, I don't like seeing her face ever again at all. I hate her so much that I'm happy that her loverboy snapped and slapped her. I wish he did more harsh than that... she deserves it. Just die, damnit. I only care about Takashi and Hisashi; you, go away!!!)
As expected of a high budget series.... it looks awesome. I appreciated the changes from the manga.... the story flow seemed better that way, and the scene arrangements fit. I'm really impressed with the directing. It sure knows how to present horror~ I was so delighted with all those bloody and flesh eating scenes that I saw~ Really freaky~ Zombie awesomeness~ YAY~
However, since I'm not really a pervert to my own kind, I didn't find enjoyment on seeing those numerous pantyshots (that for some reason get featured even when the girls are being devoured,... or.... gah, it's like there's a pantyshot for any screentime for every female that appeared on the screen.) If not legs or panties, we see boobs.... one even has REALLY GIGANTIC BOOBS that she can use them as a pillow. WHUT.
I don't enjoy the perverted fanservice, but for the perverts who also enjoy horror and gore, this might be the perfect series for them. The action parts are very awesme too! I'm relieved that our survivors so far are fighters.... even if I despise that leading girl to the core. I have so many to rant about her but one of my biggest reasons for hating her is that: HISASHI DIED BECAUSE HE SAVED HER DAMNIT!!! I WANT HIM ALIVE RATHER THAN THE ANNOYING B!TCHY SLUT!!!!!! WHY THE LACK OF COOL GUYS FOR AN ACTION HORROR SURVIVAL SERIES????!!! DAMNIT....
*ehem* Anywayz, it's nice that the high budget isn't wasted on this thing. Despite the ecchi that bothers me to hell, it's still epic. One of the cool shows that have aired so far in this season. *thumbs up*

[ Legend of the Legendary Heroes ]

(Best friend promise.... I'm a sucker for best friend bishie pairs... fufufufufuufu~)
The title already screams lame and cliches but.... I expected it to be more of a satirical parody but.... NO, I just got a typical fantasy adventure series that is indeed as lame as stereotypical as its title. I think the story's interesting (especially that the main characters seem to ahve sad and complicated backgrounds), but the storytelling didn't please me =_= It's so-so in action and fantasy stuff..... but extremely sucks on the drama and comedy parts. The characters are okay but they're seriously lame in trying to be as comical as they can. Some of the jokes with them being sarcastic are fine though. But guuhh... is the childhood friend girl there a comic relief or something? Because she doesn't make me laugh. VERY ANNOYED rather. She sucks so much and is obvious to the core that I find it weird that she's a "captain" and she got a bishie "closed-eyes-all-the-time" assistant/partner always there when she needs him. I was relieved that the main duo ignored her. She's totally not worth their attention and I hope she'll stop showing up already because I don't want her getting my attention. The more I see her, the more I forget the few things I liked about this show =_=
Speaking of which, I find it interesting that though we have a guy + girl duo with the guy being abused, at least he's quite straightforward on being annoyed... and even in hating her. Instead of just keeping it all to himself and continue being a loser or worse: actually in love with her. Ah well, they're a possible romantic couple but I don't want to see it too soon.... since it's kinda awkward given how the story's going so far....
The one that appealed to me the most in this series is the royalty dude.... it's so not his image to be seeking for girls when it comes to parties, haha! And he wears a smile infront of bastards to pretend that he's a ruler that could be manipulated. Reminds me of Orcelito from +C; Sword and Cornett....
Overall, it's lame but it has potential. Definitely not in my priority list but I think this could be better than it seemed~ Looking forward to what else it could offer~

Random Rant: WHY MY NURARIHYON AND OCCULT ACADEMY TAKING FOREVER???!!!! Roar... *wants to see them badly*

Summer 2010 1st Impressions: Perv Elem Girls + Perv HS Gals (Extra: Jump Super Anime Tour 2010 News)

This season isn't exactly popular in introducing a lot of cool shows (like Spring and Autumn), however, among the crap, there's usually several rare gems in the Summer season (Heck, Baccano! was a summer series!) so I'm checking them out to find myself some from this year. But before that:

There's gonna be an anime adaptation of Toriko and Beelzebub for the Jump Super Anime Tour 2010. I haven't read of Toriko but I LOOOOVE BEELZEBUB so I'm really freakin' excited to see its anime version! Even if it's just one episode! Eventually it will most likely have a series anywayz (like with Letter Bee). Aside from those two new anime shows, Bleach, Nurarihyon, and Letter Bee will be featured too! So... hoooray!!!! (Source ANN)

Now, the next two Summer 2010 series that I've checked out so far:
[ Mitsudomoe ] Even little girls could be such perverts
[ Setokai Yakuindomo] Even highschool gals could be perverted to the core

[ Mitsudomoe ]

I had feared of it being like Hanamaru but with the ages just a bit older.... so it's quite a relief that the most perverted female her is just perverted but doesn't exactly have a desire to become a slut, at least on the first episode.
I know that that age group are already aware of pervertedness (Heck, I saw h*ntai for the first time when I was in fourth grade. And they're 2 grade levels higher ^^;)..... but it's still disturbing to see children of that age group to have such desires.... especially when they're depicted as the more perverted ones that the adults in the show o_O That's just too awkward... moreso that the adults, aside from the leading guy, don't even notice it!
I admit that I find the youngest child cute and the eldest child... so evil~ And there's a cute boy among the students (he even has stalkers, LOLz) But still, I really can't appreciate this type of show. All I notice are the disturbing pervertedness from these young ones (oh please no kids are watching this because the art style screams kiddie even if I believe this is definitely a seinen series) with a little mix of cuteness and sweetness. Ah well, as if I could bear to see more of that megane nurse anywayz =_=

[ Setokai Yakuindomo ]

I'm pleased with how the anime adaptation turned out. Some jokes seem funnier when you see them animated, hehe. I like the ED theme the best *_* It was so cool~
Yeah, it had a lot of sex jokes. Some of them are too disturbing and a number of them are seriously too random; yet majority of them is really hilarious! I knew it that it's possible to make perverted jokes without having the leading guy getting a harem and even have women deliver them! You can already mention a lot of perverted jokes through dialogue, no need to use gigantic boobs fanservice or forced pantyshots. Oh that got me so relieved. I'm really sick of that kind of fanservice =_=
It's not exactly ecchi but it's hell more perverted than your usual ecchi crap. It's not exactly a show filled with lesbians either, but it's fun when they're game to act like being such.
It has been disturbing and WTF.... but in afreakishly cool way. The one who utters the most disturbing lines is even the "pure pure onee-sama" or "moe sexy girl" material, yet she's acting more like a "sarcastic sadist".
This series is totally not for the innocent ones despite how almost "ecchi-free" it seemed. Of course it has its flaws, but it has been a fun watch and I would want to have this honored for being DIFFERENT from your usual perverted series with a bunch of highschool students.
