Pandora Hearts - Episode 25 [END]

My reaction on the idea of this series ending:

Sad~ But I hope I look that beautiful. Haha!
I don't think I need to check the manga . . . this one's definitely an anime filler. It also seems to me that they made it an open-ending . . . no chances of a second season. But Kuroshitsuji got another season even if the last episode seemed the end . . . I don't want to keep my hopes up but . . . I still wish for another season~
Anyway, to be honest, it hasn't been a great last episode; but satisfactory. But that's only on the story, everything else had been very nice. I like the insert song. I don't remember it. Perhaps it's in the second OST, which I haven't downloaded. Ehehehe . . .

[ THE TRUTH ]

So this episode revealed to us that it was Oz's father who was responsible for sending him to Abyss. Your own father . . . doing such a thing . . . that seriously hurts.
We also get to know that his father had disappeared as soon as he did and isn't likely to be found anymore. Until that revelation of course, and since they now know that his father is with Baskervilles, he's most likely hanging around with them. Odd that he didn't show up again until this episode.

[ GOING EMOTIONAL AGAIN ]

Oz had changed on his view on himself, but he reverted back to his old self when he found out about that painful truth and . . .his father issues are the root of all of that after all.
Who woke him up from his emo and angst? None other than Alice~ She had been a little harsh, but she sure knows how to handle him. Gil still can't speak up to him no matter how much he understands and worries about his master.

[ HUNT HIM ]
I forgot her name (was it Lottie?) but if I saw this girl without any knowledge of the series, I would've mistaken her as a very HOTT magical girl Just look at her costume! Hahahaha!

Anyway, the next morning, Oz was back to his old self and this time he wants to see his father. I find it odd that they were able to find the hideout of the Baskervilles too easily. It was much weirder that the Baskervilles were actually ready for them, like they had expected their arrival.
Oz's father showed up. Break and Gil were just there for display. I dunno if it could be called a battle . . .all that happened was just Oz suddenly capable of using his power without Gil's help, and even giving Alice a power-up . . .and everything was done in one hit. Oz's father was also just like a statue there, face still hidden . . .didn't do anything except appear and disappear. The Oz made some speech. I want to be proud of him for being able to talk to his father like that (his manga self still can't do it) but . . . we still can't tell if he had really gotten over with his issues with his father until we actually see an exchange of words.
I didn't feel any thrill and excitement in that event. It felt like a waste of screentime . . . and for the sake of concluding something somehow for this last episode.

[ MY OTP ]

I love this moment out of pure bias. Haha! I loved that moment wherein Oz and Alice were staring at each other. And Alice's line: "Oz, when all the riddles are solved, when everything is over, you and I..."
Damn cut . . . damn darkened scene (Break and Gil had become invisible). . . .He held her hand! Why not show it!!! Aaaaahhhh!!!!! You give me an OTP moment but you're not exactly showing it. Why torture me so . . . .

[ OTHERS ]

Anyway, it's not that I didn't understand the "writing a story" and "we are the authors" stuff in this last episode . . . it just felt that they came out of nowhere. It just doesn't connect . . . or maybe it's just me.
There are still a lot of things left unanswered in this season (heck, like the truth behind the Tragedy of Sabrie for instance) so I'm really hoping there'll be another season of this (the manga hasn't ended yet after all!!!!). But with those changes, and with this kind of ending . . .I kinda doubt. *sobs*

Pandora Hearts - Episode 21, 22, 23 & 24

Uwaaaa . . .I was so behind on this. But I've finally caught up. One episode left!
I still can't believe it though . . . the manga has more to tell.
But anyway, this series is still doing so well~ I have to admit that there are some animation parts that didn't impress me much, but overall, especially the story, had been really good~ Oh things keep on getting interesting . . . .and dark . . . and fun! Overall awesome~ Wheee~

[ RUFUS ]

I find his style with illusions pretty amusing . . .especially on the illusion he created of himself. The fatso seemed like his complete opposite. Perhaps it presents what Rufus can't express openly (like going insane when realizing he doesn't know something. Haha!)
Why are guys with fans in animanga usually so dangerous? Haha!
It was mentioned that he's knowledgeable of a lot of things because he has lived longer compare to other dukes, right? But he looks young . . . unless he's like Break and the Sharon who don't age at all.

[ BREAK ]

We finally get to know more about Break's background! His story was really tragic . . .
He used to be a knight and his real name's Kevin. I think he's somewhat like Gil who has been very loyal to his master. And like Oz, he had also been an illegal summoner, but the revolution on his chest was completed. He had also met the Will of the Abyss (like Oz too). That place had been really a nightmare... and his eye being taken . . . so morbid. I suddenly remembered when TRC's Fai's eye was taken. Come to think of it, Break and Fai are pretty similar. Oh why are the retarded bishies tortured this way....
Anyway, Break got what he wished for. Sadly, it seems that it's really dangerous to change the past. Things got worse. If he didn't wish for it, at least the sole survivor or his master's family could've made it. It now turned out that all the sins and hard work Break has committed had been for nothing. No wonder he had been such a lonely and antisocial type when he was first found by the Reinsworth women.
But fortunately, we have the current Break now. He had changed~ Thanks to Sharon's mom~
Though I don't think it has been explained how Break got a chain as powerful as the Mad Hatter. And oh I hope he won't be dying anytime soon with all that blood vomiting . . .

[ VINCENT ]

Vincent is a psycho kid that does twisted stuff and says very mean things to others but has this undying love for his older brother. He wants to make everyhing strange so that he could finally be considered by normal.
Vincent is seriously creepy since childhood. He's still freaky until now.
I love him~
Anyway, we learn from recent events that Vincent, Alice, and Gil do know each other from a hundred years ago . . . as in they don't just live in the same era but are actually acquaintances. Alice had been such a crybaby infront of Vincent though. While Vincent, oh he doesn't stop. He dares to insult even the Alice of the Abyss.
And him . . . . I think it's also Vincent who killed Alice? With the scissors in the crime scene, I can't think of any other suspect other than Vincent.
I think it's still a mystery on how exactly they ended up there, also how they got out. Unfortunately, Vincent is not talking. Not even to his precious brother. It looks like he's really ashamed or something of what he did back there.

[ ALICE and ALYSS ]

I'm not that fond of twin girls but DAMN THE TWO ALICES ARE SO HOTT!!!!
I wonder if they're really twins . . .as in biological ones. They seem more like Alices in two worlds. But well, them being sisters is also possible. Ah, whatever their relationship exactly is, it's mysteriously awesome~
From 100 years ago, it looked like they can switch places. But whatever happened during the Tragedy, it brough Alice to the Abyss and she became a Chain. They are the same, and had been really lonely individuals, until Alice met Oz.
I don't know if the name "Alyss" for the white Alice is canon, but it's a nice shortcut in differentiating the two. Hehe.

[ JACK and ALICE ]

Since Alice had some connection to the Will of the Abyss, we don't know how Glen found her but he sure locked her up in a high tower. We don't know how Jack learned about Alice either, but when he did, he started visiting and playing with her. I guess at first Jack just felt sorry for the girl, but later they have become really attached . . . even though he has been noticing that there's somethign strange about her.
When Jack said that he won't be able to play with her anymore . . . it might've been during the time he's starting to have issues with Glen.
Glen . . . he's such a mysterious bad guy but I can't see him as 100% evil because he had actually become friends with the likes of Jack, and even enjoys the crack dude's company. I wonder if the anime will ever reveal much about Glen (I will accept if they won't if there'll be a season 2~ Ohohohoho!)

[ OZ x ALICE ]

Oz: I was terrified back there. When I thought that Chain was going to kill me, I thought "I don't want to die here, not even knowing who I am, and never be able to see Alice again.
What he fears when he dies . . . has something to do with self discovery . . .and what else? what else??? Hmmm??? =3 NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE ALICE AGAIN!!! We know Gil and Ada are also precious to him, but Alice is obviously more special than those two that just not seeing her again pains him that much!!! SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
OH YOU LOVER BOY!!!!!!!!
He finds her pretty (he complimented her about the dress~). He finds her cute (he was flowery when Alice says she wants to eat). He spoils her (too many to mention). He teases her (too many to mention as wel). He will accept her for whoever she is. It even made Alice blush.
Oz says that they're comrades/friends. But when Alice asked what their relationship exactly is, he didn't give her a direct answer. If he just sees her as a friend, he could've said so, right?
Fine, maybe I'm just going shipper bias. But . . . . but . . . . they're soooooo cute~ I don't care if the anime will deviate from the manga as long as the story will still be decent and there are more Oz x Alice moments~ Ohohohohoho~

[ OTHERS ]

I love this trio~ Break not being used to friendship is so cute~ But he's already close with Reim . . . oh worrying Reim is so daaaaw~
Our main characters (Oz, Alice, Gil, Break, and Sharon) of course take part in one of the huge battles in these last few episodes. It kinda sucks that they're the only cool ones who get to shine, when supposedly there's the whole Pandora organization which should've had some skilled fighters aside from them. I complain that it's the typical "only main characters ge tthe spotlight" thing, but at least they have noticed and wondered why the hell only the few of them are fighting against the monsters.
I'm happy that it's not a 100% typical shounen battle thing . . . because our main characters have limits. They become weak; they need to take a break; they can't take care of everything; and reinforcements come! Interesting that even previous enemies are helping out now . . . .ah well, it's because they're facing a bigger enemy!
And of course, our leading character is the only one who could stop it. It's not exactly a chosen one crap though, since he does have connections with Alice and a great hero like Jack. Him having such a power shouldn't really be a surprise, even if he's not the leading character. I mean, at least there's an explanation on why he's the only who who can save the world . . . not because of soem miraculous power-up or just because of his leading character role.

[ LOLz ]

Anyway, what is Pandora Hearts without the LOLz? Hahaha! There are several crack moments in recent episodes.
The favorite of the shipper in me is of course when Alice is so jealous of Ada, thinking she's flirting with Oz. Haha! She still doesn't get the concept of siblings. Any women around Oz means stealing her property. Hahahaha! Alice is so obvious~
The most hilarious parts for me was when Oz had soooo many escorts guarding and assisting him on everything. Even on bed and in the bath! Bwaahahahha! It made Oz uncomfortable and drove Alice crazy. Haha! Break and the others are also pissed, so Break found a way to get rid of them. Hehehehe.

[ MY FAVORITE ]

Oh~ Should anyone be surprised of my favorite scene???
ECQUES IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!! IT JUST GALLOPED AND IT GOT RID OF A LOT OF CHAINS EASILY!!!! BLACK UNICORN FTW!!!!!!!!

[ NEXT ]

Next episode looks like we're back to Oz and his issues about himself and his father. I hope the anime doesn't make it too rushed . . . those events don't seem like last episode material. . . . and please, no cliffhanger. That will drive fans crazy . . .except if the production company will promise a second season. Hehe~

Pandora Hearts - Episode 18, 19, & 20

I have been so behind on Pandora Hearts (much more on Shangri-La. . . eep) and look how much awesomeness and epic LOLz I've missed . . . *sad*

Ah, well, better late than never. Jack says hi:

Only around five episodes left and Pandora Hearts is going to end but . . . . it keeps on getting better and better . . . Yay~

[ Pandora Hearts - Episode 18 ]

In this episode, Oz finally meets the new characters Eliot Nightray and his servant Leo. Their master-servant relationship is very different from Oz and Gilbert though. But both have been cute~
Eliot seems to be the type who discriminates people based on their race/family and personality . . . but Leo and Ada keep on saying that he's actually a nice person. And he really is. Eliot had been awesome for bravely saving Oz and Ada when the Baskervilles got them. Leo + gun = awesome.
And about the Baskervilles, looks like Gil, Vincent, Alice, and Break aren't the only ones from a hundred years ago~

This had been a really good episode, and my favorite part is:

OZ AND ELIOT ARE HARDCORE NOVEL READERS!!!!! YAHOOOOO!!!!
And the series is entitled Holy Knight??? Oh wow . . . my type already . . . .
THEY ARE ALSO GREAT EXAMPLES OF A HUGE FAN AND A CHARACTER BASHER!!!!!!!!
With Oz being the fan . . . more like a FANGURL actually. I can't imagine a guy say "I LOVE EDGAR". Bwahahahahhaahahha!!!!!
And then with Eliot being The Basher, who will be able to say in many details on what makes the character so despicable.
FANDOM TRAITS IN MY FANDOM!!!!!! THIS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah, also, it made me giggle so much when Leo said that one of the unforgivable sins is SPOLING!!! Wahahahahahah!!!! Poor Oz for beign spoiled~ I don't mind being spoiled though~ Ohohoho!

[ Pandora Hearts - Episode 19 ]

By the way, the Baskervilles want Jack from Oz, to ask him where the hell their boss Glen is. Jack showed up alright, through possessing Oz again (this posession thing makes me think of 07-Ghost. The oen possessing is also more powerful than the main character . . . . I like Mikhail more than Teito though . . . but between Oz and Jack . . .damnit, don't make me choose. They're the same person to me. . . . ) But Jack only took over to drive them away; then leaves after his job is done.
In this episode we get a flashback. Glen and Jack were friends, and the pocketwatch that Oz has is their masterpiece; Glen did the music while Jack used it for the musical watch. It seemed that Glen was a guy who's often alone . . .which is a surprise that Jack, his complete opposite, got along with him. It also looked that Glen was happy having Jack around, especially that beign proud of their work is what made him smile, which is something considered rare to people working for Glen.
However, for some reason, Glen wanted to do massacre, and ordered his men to do it without mercy. Jack doesn't want to kill him, but he had to point a blade at him. And the legend goes that Jack killed Glen . . . and that's what made him the Hero of that tragedy. Not all heroes are exactly 100% happy of what happened during their accomplishement.
Now back to Oz . . . he had some character development here. We all know that Oz was the type who doesn't care about himself . . . . and that's why he likes the character Edgar so much because it reminds the character of himself (Most fans are like that . . . fans of characters who are like them.) Anyway, I love selfless dudes, but at times their "selfless" acts are also out of selfishness. Eliot had been so detailed in explaining that. But Oz had a reason behind it, and explained it all to Eliot. Eliot finally understood why Oz was behaving that way so he stopped insulting the guy. Oz was surprised for doing that because he hasn't even told such things to Gil (he didn't need to though since Gil already knows and understands~) . . . but saying it made him feel better. Oh the importance of sharing your problems to others . . . . even if it didn't exactly solve the problem . . . just telling about it lightens the burden.
Well, Oz notices the stupid things he had done and went depressed. He's back to his usual lonely self, being in despair. Fortunately, Eliot was there to make him realize that he had actually taken a step forward in solving his self problem by actually realizing it. Oz is such an idiot that he needs people to mention to him if there's somethign wrong with him or if he had finally done someimprovement. This shows the importance of having people supporting us . . . guiding us . . . cheering us on!
I really really love the emotional/behavioral/psychological/sociological aspects in this series~ We have characters with different problems, and different causes . . . but we also see how they step forward and improve themselves.
Ah~ beautiful life lessons learned in anime~ Really wonderful~

Alright, this had been a very very good episode, but my favorite part is:

I feel like a sadist for loving to see my favorite bishies tortured Wahahaha!

And oh, about Lottie, I like her~ She's the evil bitch type who has a huge crush on her master~ Not to mention she's pretty~ And I love it that she bullies Jack~ And her dress had butterfly designs~ Heeeheehee~

[ Pandora Hearts - Episode 20 ]

This episode is mostly a filler . . . but oh boy what an entertaining filler it is~ I don't think it's an anime filler though because the events are familiar . . .. I really think it's also in the manga. So it's a filler just story-wise. . . . but for a filler, it did show some important events. Like with Oz telling Gil that he won't trouble him anymore by not caring about himself. And we also get to learn about Eliot . . . aside from the song that he had played being similar to what Glen played . . . and even had the same name . . . and both claim these to be their original compositions . . . he had been having nightmares of the Tragedy of Sabrie . . . with him killing those people. If Oz has an obvious connection to Jack, then Eliot . . .with these hints . . .has an obvious connection to Glen, yes? Hehe. Makes me think that Glen wasn't himself during that tragedy . . .

Anyway, favorite parts in this episode? It was loads of crack . . .I enjoyed a lot of scenes:

I thought Sharon was boring in the first few chapters . . . but after learning more about her and how evil she could be . . .especially when drunk . . . oh . . .new goddess found~

we want Oz~

OMG OZ WHAT DID YOU SEE?!

OH MOE GILBERT~

LOLz to Gilbert abuse~

Gilbert is so fun to torture~

really really fun~ even younger ones torture him~

crack roar is always entertainment~

Oh I love crack~

Eliot is the star of the recent episodes for me~

Oh you darling~

Upcoming episode seems serious though~ I still highly look forward to them~ Yaaaay!!!

Pandora Hearts - Episode 17

This episode was full of touching moments and crack~ One of the most fun episodes of this series! Wheee~ So enjoyable~ I can't stop giggling . . . and going DAAAWWW . . . and getting teary because sibling or sibling-like moments affect me so much~

[ EPISODE HEARTROBS ]

Break's first smile? Aaaww . . .

He will always be the number one heartrob to me in this show~

[ TOUCHES THE HEART ]

Break saying that Sharon's life is more precious that the thing he's been trying to get for a long time . . . aaaawwww

To me they're more like siblings though. I don't care if they'll stay platonic or will become romantic. Either way, they have been very sweet~

Oh our tsundere admits that his words had made her happy~ Yay OTP~

THEIR REUNION MADE ME CRY!!!! DAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW!!!!!!

[ THE LOLz ]
I love Sharon for being the only character so far who calls Break a moron in a crack comedy way. Haha!

Pillow hitting! Violent pillow hitting~ And Oz is so ignored~

Now gigantic paper fan hitting . . . yay to Break abuse! Bwahahaha!

Uncle Oscar kidnapped the trio and made them wear school uniforms

this scene of Oz and Gil going shiny and have roses in the background make the series seem like some gay shoujo anime. Bwahahah!

Oz was reading his sister's letter, and in the end it says that she has fallen in love with someone. Possessive Unle doesn't like that news.

They're now on a mission to sneak into the school~

Uncle Oscar has the most ghey disguise~ Bwahahaha!

But his gay long is seen as pervertedness

Gil gets to see his best friend again

Oh how cute of chibi Gil freaking out because a kitty is clinging to him~

I laughed s hard on the Gilbert fainting scene. Bwahahaha!

Oz so shocked that Alice could actually sharp at times! Wahaha!

Of course she takes it as an insult~ Oz torture as usual. Wheee~

More Oz abuse~

It's not yet enough~

Jealous girlfriend is jealous . . . too bad for him she doesn't have any idea what a siblign relationship is.

Possessive girlfriend is possessive.

Servant doesn't like his master being treated as a servant

Fighting for Oz~ Ada sweatdrop~

Almost forgot secret mission~ Oh funny that even Alice gets scared of Oscar. Haha!

Ada asked Gil about the hat. Her relatives thought she was referring to Gil's precious hat. Then maybe it means . . .

Gil was the one they're looking for all along???!!!! . . . they think . . .

Possessive/overprotective relatives not happy with the idea. Even Oz is giving Gil the evil stare~

Ada's misleading smile made them think they had been right. Oh LOLz to their reactions (one crying and the other was like he lost his soul. Bwahahha!)

Poor Gil . . .Poor Gilbert . . . BWAHAHHAAHHAHAHA!!!!

[ NEXT EPISODE ]

Next episode looks like a very serious and intense one~ Bloody awesome~
