+C: Sword and Cornett - Chapter 23

THIS IS THE WORST CHAPTER EVER!!!!!!
BECAUSE IT MADE ME CRY LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW!!!!!!!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

[ QUICK SUMMARY ]

Belca and the Hokulea kid were on a dead end, but fortunately the gates opened and Linna had come just in time for their rescue. Eco had instructed him to do so in order to save Belca and get out of the place. Linna was quite hesitant on the idea of making Belca leave the palace at first until Eco tells him that he thinks that Belca is just doing as he was told in order to keep Linna safe and also because of the books. They've decided that once they save Belca, they'll let him decide if he stays in the palace or not.
Linna told Belca of the plan that they are to meet Eco once they get out of the waterways. Belca ordered Linna to take the kid away and bring his message to Shingetsu and co. while he stays put in the mean time to threaten Kiliko's men that he'll hurt himself if they make a move.
Unfortunately, someone discovered that the gates were opened and closed it again.... and it just so happened that it's exactly where Belca's standing! But Linna was just in time to put Belca out of danger. However, he got badly injured upon saving his prince.
Belca doesn't want to leave him but Linna kept on insisting that he should escape. They parted after Linna presents his oath of alliance.
Belca, together with the Hokulea kid, were able to catch up on Eco. Later they were able to meet up with Shingetsu and Tenrou. They had wondered where Linna is and if Belca's alright. But Belca assures them that he's fine. Linna had promised that he'll always be with him, and from now on, he can be a Prince.

[ HIGHLIGHT OF THE CHAPTER ]

Linna: ...Your highness! Sorry for making you worry...
Belca: Idiot, that's supposed to be my line!

Even the other characters are not used to seeing Belca without Linna because these two are like ONE SET. I love their master and servant relationship. Such loyalty.... and oh so sweet!

And no, haha, I don't exactly ship them as a BL pairing. I ship Linna x Mariebelle, yes, because I see Belca and Mariebelle as different people. Fufufufufufufu xD

But it doesn't look like we'll be getting that kind of fanservice anymore (or for a long time at least) because of this.... separation.

Damnit...

It doesn't seem likely that Linna's gonna die from this (because if he was meant to die, he should've been gone as early as this chapter). What's worrisome though is what his situation would be like when he recovers. Hopefully Linna won't be manipulated or something, or be seriously injured that he couldn't do battle anymore. Well, whatever Tama-sensei plans to surprise us with regarding Linna's fate, I want a Linna and Belca reunion as soon as possible. Reunions between very significant main characters are usually so.... grand~

Oh if only Musca is as behaved as this in the actual story.... but since she isn't, I shall continue ignoring here >=D mwahahahaha!

[ QUICK SUMMARY ]

During Eco and Kiliko's conversation, it has been revealed that Eco's former name was Francesco, but he ran away from the Lagen House when he was a child. Eco was seized by another soldier but a monster came just in time to give Eco a chance to escape~
Kiliko begins to suspect that Eco started all the commotion.... though he's not sure of which or what exactly Eco's true aim is.
Meanwhile, underground where the escaped Hokulea and Belca are, Belca has gained consciousness. None of the Hokulea that had invaded the place can communicate with him however, so they had trouble in understanding each other.
Unfortunately, Kiliko's troops had caught up with them. Belca asks how Orcelito and Linna are. Upon hearing that the two were safe, he insisted that the Hokulea should just be punished according to law, not kill them instantly. The assassin however, stubbornly refuses..... so they made a run for it.
Hearing Belca mention "Hokulea", "Shingetsu" and "Tenrou" made them realize that he must've been the prince who had helped them out in the past. Belca confirms his identity to them and it quickly made him consider him as their comrade.
Afterwards, Belca writes a letter, using his blood, to warn the Hokulea of Orcelito's plans (letter's addressed to Shingetsu or Tenrou so that he could be understood by them). The chase continued until they reached a dead end.
As for Linna, Eco just gave him a little task in order to save Belca.

[ YOUNG ECO AKA FRANCESCO ]

Young Eco, for some reason, at a glance looked like a combo of Oz, Jack, and Break from Pandora Hearts o_O Come to think of it... his personality's similar to those three.... in a way.
Eco looks like a sophisticated aristocrat from that scene! So cool~ And he seems to be intelligent since childhood.... intelligent and a very curious child for hanging out with his House's researchers. And at such an age he discovered important documents and can even speak Hokulea language. How could Eco be so incredible xD No wonder Kiliko's intimidated by him because Eco's that amazing~

[ ECO-TAN IS LOVE ]

But genius people who do crack make themselves even more lovable xD
It's so cute when Eco keeps on insisting that he's no fghter xD Hehe. I know you can if only you want to!

[ CROW IS EVIL~ ]

Speaking of fighters, Kiliko's number one fan seems so evil and tough to beat. Belca can do sword fights, but he still sucks =P Too bad he's no match to this dude.

[ BLOOD WRITING ]

Emphasizes how bloody his message is... literally o_o ahahahaha
It's nice that Belca's that determined to help out the Hokulea~ He's such a nice boy~ He even went against his brother for them.

[ BELCA + HOKULEA ]

They finally recognize Belca as a comrade~ I wonder how Hector had gotten their good side.
DAMNIT I WANT THE "HOW HECTOR MET THE HOKULEA" BACKGROUND LIKE NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!

[ SERIOUSLY THE MOST DEVOTED UNDERLING IN THIS SERIES ]

Lastly, we have dear Linna. As a soldier, he has many duties to choose from: 1) protect/serve the crown prince 2) protect the palace/people 3) return to Sana and do his original job
But no.... he has decided to serve Belca... only Belca... and prioritizing Belca above all.
Forget others; forget himself. His master is the most important one.
He will do anything for the sake of his beloved Mariebelle master no matter what.
I kinda doubt Kiliko would go to this extent with Orcelito.... at least not in this arc maybe.... but with Crow to Kiliko.... it's possible.... but I don't think any character could beat Linna on the devotion and overprotectiveness xD Oh Linna~

Kiliko's harem!!!! They look like ninja boys.... European ninja boys.... I really like their costumes~

[ QUICK SUMMARY ]

The Hokulea attacked during the ceremony. Crown Prince Orcelito was brought into safety but Prince Belca was taken hostage. Linna wants to save the prince but people have been stopping him from doing so because of his injury.
Eco pretended to be a palace guard and he prohibited the other soldiers from hurting Belca. At the end of the chapter, Eco meets Kiliko... and called him Natanael.

[ OH BROTHERLY LOVE ]

I think his is enough proof that even though Orcelito's in evil mode in recent events, his concern for his younger brother is still genuine~

Because of that, Belca became worried and was attacked. His body doesn't seem to be that strong for he fainted after being kick once ^^; Either that or the Hokulea are just that awesome and strong xD

[ REASON WHY LINNA FORGOT ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE ]

Do we really need to guess what his reaction would be on any physical harm, no matter how big or small, will be done to Belca? And of course, even if his condition is actually worse, he doesn't feel it.

That gesture is enough to make me BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!
And how awesome of him to be able to pretend as a high official even with his flashiness. Hehe

Eco's past is connected with Kiliko's!!! Eco has such interesting connections.... yet he's still so mysterious~
Interesting to know Kiliko's real/previous name. I honestly like it better than Kiliko....

Durarara!! - Episode 21

I think I should've watched this before reading the Hetalia movie and Nurarihyon 109 spoilers x_x It's actually a good episode, as always, but the former two were just so distracting that this one didn't make me that hyper (except for the part with Izaya because he's just so LOLz).... maybe it's because of all the seriousness..... but anywayz:

I wish my job is just to move chess pieces.... and still earn a lot of money. Working under Izaya, provided that you could tolerate his evilness, must've been very convenient. Ahehehe....

[ LONG TIME NO SEE ]

We haven't been seeing Shizuo and Shinra for a while~ Too bad the punks "behaved" so Shizuo didn't do anything kickass. As for Shinra, his mug distracted me too much. It was so cute. Haha!

[ IZAYA IS HYPER ]

He's soooooooooo enjoying himself. Such a naughty boy for sharing an already troubled girl. Such a pathetic loner for being so happy talking alone in the chatroom.
The serious events were mostly his fault and he's delighted with the chaos. Watching people troubled is pleasing him.
He's a very very very very very bad person.
But he's funny, damnit.... squeeling like a girl in the chatroom. Oh my stock still hurt from too much laughing. Wahahaha!

[ ANRI AND HER WTF DESCRPTION ]

People recognize her with 3 simple descriptions: 1) Raira uniform 2) glasses 3) big boobs
LOLz.... the boobs
And it's like she's the only girl in the academy with such features...... hhhhhmmm.... Slim girl with big breasts (that aren't humongous like gazillions of anime do to their female characters for some reason) must've been something rare then.
But still.... the third description's so WTF.... hahaha!

[ MASAOMI'S EPIC GLARES AND KICKS OF DOOM ]

It's an anime classic for tze evil glare of a main character will frighten or intimidate the other characters. I think it's cooler when it's done by characters who aren't usually like that.
We get to see how strong Masaomi is in this episode! His attacks don't make people fly like Shizuo's do, but they're bloody enough.

[ THEY'RE DOING SOMETHING WHILE HE DOESN'T... YET? ]

(LOLz to their clones xD But Masaomi looks sexier them him, Anri looks hotter than her, while Mikado's gazillion times more adorable than that dude =P)
Anri finally made a move.... by making her children under the Yellow Scarves stop their comrades.
However, it resulted distrust within the Yellow Scarves.... causing Masaomi yet another problem.
But thanks to that, he figures out that Anri is involved on the "hypnotisms" and she's the girl with a katana.

It would be troublesome if he reveals to his minions that the Slasher and the Dollars Leader are his close friends..... and knowing that makes him distance himself from those two as well..... sadly it only brought negative results to all three sides: 1) best friend trio not together like usual anymore 2) Yellow Scarves not behaving and are most likely becoming suspiscious of mr. shogun already 3) shogun himself is being so angsty on the issue
Interesting that it's Masaomi who discovers the secrets of both of his friends first..... but as for his clueless best friend.....

[ MIKADO'S AWAKENING and REALIZATIONS ]

He finally realizes how clueless he is thanks to people we least expect to do something awesome in this situation: Seiji and Mika (I find it very nice that she's genuinely concerned about Anri despite her scary obsession with Seiji. So she may be obsessed, but she still looks out for her friends. So she's not exactly a bad person for a stalker). He also gets cheered up on the Dollars issue thanks to the nice people who remembered his encouraging words at their website.
However, this time, he learns about Anri being attacked again! This would be annoying if Anri is defenseless.... but since we know she isn't, to the audience there's nothing to worry. Mikado and Masaomi however.... *sigh*

[ NEXT EPISODE ]
It looks like Masaomi had helped Anri (And I wish she explains to him already!) and that won't be a nice sign if his subordinates would start to think he had betrayed them.

Looks like next episode is more intense and badass~ I'm very excited for that one. And oh please Mikado do something badass already. Your "self-realization" stage is now over, so do something do something x_x

Afterschool Charisma: Goodies and Stuff So Far

Someone had asked at FormSpring if H*P could do news stuff regarding this series. I didn't think I could do it (because it's quite difficult to find resources.... it's always like that on not-so-popular series).

But one day, I felt like looking up on Afterschool Charisma stuff and... I found many interesting things *_*

To my surprise, Afterschool Charisma is actually quite popular *_* But not many people outside Japan are familiar with it so.... let's boost the fandom up ;D Anywayz, I'll be sharing things I discovered and stuff that a fan might be interested to know. However, well, I couldn't report about those in Japanese text, because my Japanese is still mediocre. But that wouldn't be a problem if we just focus on the images, right? xD So now, enjoy:

[ CHARISMA IN IKKI ]

Afterschool Charisma is being published in Ikki (which also handles series like House of Five Leaves, Bokurano, etc.) Charisma made it to Ikki's cover in three issues: June 2008 (the year it debuted), July 2009, and January 2010.
Those images look amazing! If only there's no text and is in a bigger version.... hehehehe.

[ CHARISMA IN IKKICOMIX ]

I am not sure of the difference between Ikki and Ikkicomix, but apparently, in Ikkicomix there's an issue(?) wherein there's a Charisma cover with the characters in swim wear by the pool!
It looks fun~ Poor Shiro, haha!

There are three volumes released right now, both in Japanese and English. If you can get a copy at your bookstore or manage to buy them online, DO IT xD
By the way, Volume 4 (Japanese) will be coming this June 30!!!! Hooray!!!

[ CHARISMA STUFF ]

In Volume 2, the characters are preparing for their School Festival wherein they perform and cosplay as their originals xD The image above is a sneak peek of what they wore. THEY ALL LOOK COOL!!! And oh I hope there'll be bigger versions of the colored versions xD

Kumiko-sensei did a sneak peek of a new image she's working on. It looks like little Pandora clinging to the director. Hehehehe~ Hopefully the full version will be out soon~

Kumiko-sensei had a lot of other works (I want Once Upon a Glashma!!!! ;_;), not only in manga, but it appears that she has also done illustrations for games and drama CD's. Those boys in chibi are part of some drama CD, I think. The blonde one looks soooooooooo much like Napoleon except that he's the seductive type; while the main character (at the center) is like a Shiro and Hitler lovechild combo xD Oh this looks interesting~
