Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa
by Kano Yasuhiro

Tetsu runs acrros with Mao, the girl he's secretly in love with for years, right after she purchased a strange mirror. But when an accident suddenly occurs, Tetsu saves her.... and vanished!
He didn't die though, but he isn't on the living world anymore either. He's now... inside the mirror!

POTENTIAL: B (NICE!) FAVORITISM: 3.5 Hearts (LOVE)
Motivation: (What Made Me Check It Out)
The title captured my interest because it had something to do with mirrors.
But when I saw the art, it looked VERY familiar. So I checked the author and... KANOU YASUHIRO? CREATOR OF MY Mx0??? SHET! I NEED TO READ IT ASAP xD
Curses: (What Seems to be Bad About It)
THE DELAY ON THE CONFESSION IS KILLING ME!!! THAT'S THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES THIS MANGA SO ANNOYINGLY LONG UGH!!!
Praises: (What Seems to be Good About It)
I'm impressed with the heroine. I mean, yeah, she's the usual airhead and needs saving and stuff.... but... in a non-battle manga with the hero involved in a supernatural mess... the heroine's involved. She's just not on the sidelines, or just some item to protect... she actually has a ROLE to play. This is seriously not common on shounen romance wherein the heroine's not a fighter type.
Moreover, for a series with ecchi, at least this one's got a reason why the protagonist manages to see perverted scenes.... on most occassions.
Bias: (What's Keeping Me Hooked to It)
Mx0 NOSTALGIA!!!!! *sniff* WAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!
Fangirl: (What I Love in It)
I'm like Tetsu~ Also the tsundere dude and his cute friend (what an odd pair; cool~)
Nostalgia: (What It Reminds Me of)
Mx0 (the mangaka and art style, 'nuff said), Rex Fabula (the mirror thing)
Overall:
As expected from Mx0's mangaka, we've got another interesting and unique shounen series. It might appear as a comedy, with perverted fanservice here and there, but it's also a tragic love story.... wherein two people who like each other can't be together literally (though what's frustrating is that they don't even know they like each other =_= Ah well, that's the usual shounen romance torture this mangaka gives me.)
Anyway, I still don't think it'll ever be better than Mx0 overall, but it's still very promising for having a decent heroine, showing ecchi that's aceeptably coincidental... and the artwork got even better~ Unlike Mx0 though, it'll be better if this one ends soon (but not rushed!!! T_T), because making it longer would ruin the story (while Mx0 still has SO MUCH MORE TO TELL). Ugh, yeah, I love Mx0 to bits and until now I mourn about it being ;_;
