I don't think I have enough time to do season previews, so instead, I'll just feature upcoming anime which I know (meaning, I'm already a fan of its original/previous adaptation) or highly believe (meaning, it's just my gut feeling) are awesome. Enjoy~

Ganta Igarashi has been convicted of a crime that he hasn't committed, and sent to a new, privately owned and operated prison, where the inmates are the main attraction in a modern day twist to the gladiatorial coliseums of ancient times. Throw in a healthy dose of weird little girl, some new-found super powers, and a little conspiracy theory, and you have Deadman Wonderland.

=== QUICK IMPRESSIONS ===
I started reading its manga adaptation years ago (not even more than 10 chapters were out back then) because the title really intrigued me (those two words contrast each other so much xD And as if a title with the word "dead" won't capture my attention. *morbid girl* Ohohoho!). It wasn't a surprise that I quickly got hooked to it~
Deadman Wonderland is a wickedly beautiful mix of sci-fi, mystery, suspense, horror, action, and drama. It's thought-provoking too, and the story gets even better as it progresses and delves deeper into the secrets of that inhumane prison. Most of the time it can be quite disturbing and depressing, but a lot of scenes there can make you stare in awe, laugh your a$$ off, or cry your heart out.
The manga is one of my favorite psychological thrillers in dystopian settings of all times. Oh how excited I was when I heard the news of it having an anime adaptation this Spring 2011! Especially when I learned that the staff and cast behind it seem very promising *_*

=== FANGURLING===
I loooooooooooove Ganta x Shiro~ Here I go again on my childhood friends and star-crossed lovers craze xD Teehee~ (And oh, Shiro's no damsel-in-distress. She's insanely adorable. I love that girl)
Senji always makes me laugh on his NON-pervertedness xD OMG, that's so not in his looks and that was so awesome xD
Makina is hott. 'nuff said.
I am very very very touched with Yo's undeserving kindness to his sibling. He's such a darling.
Mocking Bird drives me crazy:
(Mocking Bird: Adorably Hyper Version)
(Mocking Bird: Disturbingly Sexy Version)
(Mocking Bird: Bloody Dangerous Version)
He has a pretty abnormal way of expressing love and having fun.
(And oh, nope, he's not really gay. Haha!)
Someone: Sapphire Pyro! You're just crazy about psycho dudes!
Me: Shut up!!!!
Oh my god... April come alreadyand gimme my bloody gorefest *_*

I swear the world is conspiring against me in trying to get me to pick up this series XP It does sound wonderful, just the horror aspect is so out of my league...
Good idea though, I wish I could do a spotlight post on Horizon, if there was any English info on it xD
Just read the first volume yesterday. I still don't understand it, but it's to early to drop this series. Will read it until vol 3 and see if this series match my type or not :p
If I like the manga, I'll make sure to watch the anime :D
That will be the best show of the season. One of the best shows of the year. I have a gut feeling. And my gut feeling doesn't make mistakes. O.O
@ namika0
I also believe that it's gonna be one of the best this year xD
@ baka-girl
What do you not understand? I don't mind explaining if I can xD Stories such as this one can be quite complicated~
Hope you enjoy it~
@ Aorii
It's more of action shounen than horror though.... it's not horror centric than the likes of Higurashi, Shiki, etc. ;D
Horizon? *can't remember what spring 2011 series has that word in the title*
Ah, after read it until chapter 43, I kinda understand what's going on (yeah, I'm slow :p).
It's getting better and better, can't wait to see more chapter.
What do you think about the studio that animated it? Cause I'm not familiar with it, kinda afraid they would mess up DW :))
