I'm almost done!!! w00t!

I love this more than the prequel. More supernatural phenomena going on; there's finally more sorcery than just plain politics. Not that I don't like the political stuff in the novel, I just prefer a fantasy series with more fantasy elements than political ones.

Arya's "human weapon" is such an interesting guy. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of him soon. I'm also curious on who she might end up with... my guess is Gendry... but we don't know about the guy she's betrothed yet... he might also be an interesting guy.

I'm hoping that Theon and Robb would meet already. Theon's obviously attached to the guy... (though I don't think he's gay), I wonder how Robb's gonna behave towards him when he finds out what he had done to his brothers.

Joffrey's so annoying... Sansa's so pathetic. Pfft, they're a pair, indeed.

And oh, speaking of the A Song of Fire and Ice series, I found something pretty interesting:

You don't actually need to understand it to be freaked out, but for those who are curious on what the hell was going on, then a translation's available over here.

I discovered this last week. Since most horror comics don't scare me easily, I let my guard down on this one. And after scrolling it a bit I already got scared >_< It makes me feel weird to not finish a horror story, so I had planned to get back to it. On my next attempt, I failed.... but of course, I managed to read it in the end. It was good... still freaked me out even though I already knew what I'll be expecting. This is terrific~

[ MANGA ]

• Black Butler (chapter 60) - That twist about Undertaker's original profession was no longer a surprise (ah, the anime has spoiled that), but the twist on who's the one behind eveything was... something expected and unexpected at the same time, aahaha.
• Bloody Cross (chapters 9 to 11)- To be honest, I don't really read it anymore... except for the parts with Tsuduki... because he's so entertaining that I forget about everyone else, ahaha.
• Bloody Monday (chapters 4 to 5) - THEY'RE ENGAGED???!!!! O_O ... oh whatever, more of my beloved J, please. (I think J ships them though. Fufu~)

Supernatural: The Animation - Trailer and Stuff!

The art style was a little different from what I expected (knowing anime, it usually tends to "overbishiefy" male dudes popular to fangurls) but it's still freakin' awesome so I don't care xD

[ DVD ]

So here's what the cover of the first box of the DVD will look like, also its contents. It will be released next year. Only the first half of the first season on this release then the later half on the second one. ANN reports that it will contain two dubbed episodes by the actual actors of the Winchester brothers. I don't know if Ackles and Padalecki and voice acting experiences, but hearing the voices of the originals in this anime adaptation would seem fun xD And most likely they'll be uttering lines that weren't in the TV series, I'm excited on how they would deliver them~
Not that I am biased on the original versions. I'm curious of how the Japanese voice actors will do them too =D Though I admit that one of my main reasons on being so excited to see it is because hearing the Winchester brothers speak in Japanese would be very amusing for me xD At least at first until I get used to it. Haha!

Supernatural Series Gets An Anime Adaptation!

WINCHESTER BROTHERS SPEAKING JAPANESE xD LOLz

The official Japanese website of the Warner Brothers production company has opened a section on Thursday to reveal the Supernatural The Animation project, which will launch from Japan in January of 2011. The "special project" will tie into the American live-action television series Supernatural. The website promises that the new project will be an animated work that no one has seen before. It does not indicate whether the project will be Japanese-animated or not.

The live-action series follows the Winchester brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they hunt creatures and other supernatural phenomena across the American landscape. The series premiered on The WB network in the United States in 2005, and it will enter its sixth season on The WB's replacement network, The CW, this fall. The fifth season of the live-action series will ship in Japan this fall, along with the Blu-ray versions of the second through fourth seasons.

Warner Brothers has been involved in several Japanese-animated projects based on American entertainment properties, including The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight, Halo Legends, and most recently, Thundercats. The studio has also acquired the film rights for Akira, Death Note, and Ninja Scroll, and has reportedly been in talks for the rights to the Bleach manga.

The Cinema Today website reports that MADHOUSE is the acclaimed anime studio (Death Note, Paprika, Vampire Hunter D, Summer Wars) that is producing the previously announced Supernatural the Animation project for Warner Brothers. According to the website, this is the world's first animated project from a Japanese anime studio that is based on a popular overseas drama series. Shigeyuki Miya (Lupin III: Green vs Red, Aoi Bungaku Series, Buzzer Beater) and Atsuko Ishizuka (Aoi Bungaku Series) are co-directing the project.

Warner Home Video will release Supernatural the Animation on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on January 12, 2011. The original live-action series follows the Winchester brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they hunt creatures and other supernatural phenomena across the American landscape. The animeanime.jp website reports that the anime will be a 22-episode season that will cover the storyline of the live-action version's first two seasons. The first volume will ship on January 12 with the first two episodes. On February 2, the "Box 1" set will ship with episodes 3 to 12. On April 6, the "Box 2" set will ship with episodes 13 to 22. (There will be a different release schedule for the rental version of the project.)

The anime project will not only remake the best episodes from the live-action version, but also depict original episodes not seen in the live-action version. Those original episodes will include prologues of the Winchester brothers' childhood, anime-only enemies, and episodes featuring secondary characters from the live-action version.

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is credited as the anime project's creator, and MADHOUSE co-founder Masao Maruyama is serving as executive producer. Naoya Takayama (Night Head, Liar Game) is supervising the series' scripts, and Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Trigun) is designing the characters.

Yuya Uchida (Soul Eater's Dr. Franken Stein, Naruto Shippūden's Rinji) will dub the role of Sam, while Hiroki Touchi (Trinity Blood's Abel Nightroad, Bokurano's Kokkpelli) will dub the role of Dean. Both actors dubbed these same roles for the live-action version in Japanese.

NAOYA TAKAYAMA (Night Head, Liar Game) is someone I'm not familiar with. With Liar Game, this person doesn't seem to be the one behind the Japanese live-action series, and I haven't heard of it having another adaptation..... but since this person works on such cool series... then no doubt he's gonna be AWESOME!!!!
I CAN'T IMAGINE YUYA UCHIDA AS SAM NOR HIROKI TOUICHI AS DEAN. BUT SINCE SEIYUUS ARE AWESOME AND THEIR CHARACTERS ARE AWESOME, IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME!
I WANNA SEE THIS SO BADLY!!! ESPECIALLY THE ANIME ORIGINAL EPISODES!!!! IT WOULD BE MORE DELIGHTFUL IF YOU ADD CHARACTERS FROM SEASON 4 ONWARDS xD ANGEL CASTIEL =3
I have never been this excited over a Japanese anime adaptation based on a contemporary Western series/show/movie/whatever xD
