I managed to marathon Ikoku Meiro Croisee last week:

RATING: B (NICE!) FAVORITISM: 4 Hearts (ADORATION)

It was beautiful *_* The anime was way better than the manga. It's sad that we didn't get to see The Grand Magasin in it (perhaps they lacked people to do background animation for it? They can't degrade the quality... setting illustrations in the series had baan magnificent *_*), but I liked all those anime fillers xD

Kiri's Sasuke look and attitude is bothering me. I hope he stops going tsun tsun already T_T

I'm having difficulty in choosing between Matsurigi and Kurisu as my favorite character in this series.... I wish there'll be more chapters centered on them... I wish to know them better.

Alright, now to the weekly anime post. Only six titles for this batch because I failed to watch one of them (referring to Ben-To). I'll try to catch up on that next week... and maybe I'll be dropping one of them (referring to Guilty Crown). The less series to follow, the more I can keep up. Hehe.

This season is evil. There are so many good shows that I would want to keep track on many of them weekly xD I can't shut up about them either, but blogging this many individually would be a problem for me (because of time limit and internet fail =_=) so I've decided to blog indivisually starting this season xD

[ Anime Blurbs ] Anime Following This Autumn 2011

Before I start the post, I just want to share this Durarara!! scan by chan-chanz:

Alright, now on about what this post is about: Iinitially I had a top three on the shows I love best this season. But damn, it looks liek it's gonna be FOUR. And that's excluding the show I've been following since the previous season: Mawaru Penguindrum~ ... Of course I haven't forgotten about it! It's just that watching it makes my brain turn off and I lose time to blog about it, ahahaha.

Some quick blabberings on the five shows I'm talking about in alphbetical order:

Mawaru Penguindrum - Episode 12

OH. MY. GOD.

What a way to wrap up the first half of the series. This episode is filled with so much shocking revelations yet it keeps on dumping us with more intriguing mysteries. It hasn't run out of symbolisms and refreshing ideas. So many scenes in here made my heart break, that or make me utterly confused or dumbfounded.

As many have already mentioned, this series is seriously afraid of nothing.

Mawaru Penguindrum - Episode 11

Oh my god... the whole space rocket sequence was SKIPPED. Thank you for answering my prayers (waste the screentime on scenes we haven't seen instead of repeating it over and over). Ah well, I think we will still be seeing it in full again on another episode, but to see that part cut or not shown at all will greatly help in making me forget that I had been annoyed with it.

For the first time, Princess of the Crystal didnn't say much insults... she's just quite most of the time. She let Ringo talk as as she pleases... and Shouma didn't even get dropped by his penguin like usual. Things are getting more serious now~

Mawaru Penguindrum - Episode 10

Kamba (I'll start spelling his name this way because that seems to be the official spelling) is so EPIC FAIL in this episode. If he had been pretty cool or badass in the previous episode, this one emphasized his dorky side. Hahaha!

Mawaru Penguindrum - Episode 9

(First time we see Himari in costume but not in Princess of the Crystal mode xD)

It might not be as wacky or as action-packed as the earlier episodes, but this has been the most mind-boggling and amazing episode so far *_*

Oh my dear, Kanba. The cutest smile you ever did in the series so far was when you were suggesting something perverted.

Yay! There's an episode this week! And it's great as usual!!!

Not enough fanservice for me though.... ;_; ... but it's okay!!! xD I'm not watching this just for the personal fanservice anyway, haha!

BEST EPISODE SO FAR!!!

Not much "personal fanservice" for me though, but overall....

IT HAS BEEN SO FANTASTIC AND MIND-BLOWING! IT CONTINUES TO EXCEED EXPECTATIONS! w00t!

Mawaru Penguindrum - Episode 4

No Survival Strategy ritual this episode? YESSSSS!!!!!!!

Not that I don't wanna see Boshi-sama. Frequent repetitions usually annoy me... thankfully this series has no plans in repeating that sequence in every freakin' episode.

(Kanba dear, it's not good to make your fangirls angry, haha)

This episode seems generally ridiculous (mostly thanks to Ringo's delusions) but some REALLY serious stuff also happened.... I'm intrigued *_*

Mawaru Penguindrum - Episode 3

I was considering to drop PenguinDrum from blogging in favor of Dantalian no Shoka but... I really can't shut up about my top favorite series this season, haha!

The "rocket ship" sequence was shown again.... that repetition is beginning to annoy me, but thankfully there are still variations on what happened afterwards and we didn't see the brothers shocked upon seeing Himari having The Hat on her head all of a sudden in this episode.

Summer 2011 Anime Second Impressions

Finally managed to see the first episodes of the shows that I think could be worth watching, haha! (I ignored those which I'm pretty sure will just give me headaches.)

My current impressions haven't been that different from my previous ones. But I'm happy that a number of the shows I've been anticipating have been better than I though =)
