[ Manga Discovery ] Aruosumente

Aruosumente
by Aki

[ Demographic: SHOUNEN-ISH SHOUJO ]
Reguna, an "Oracle", sees a prophetic dream about a person intending to kill His Majesty. He must find out the identity of the culprit, and the only way to find out is if he passes the sage's trial.
(5 chapters read as of the date this blog entry was posted)

POTENTIAL: B (NICE!) FAVORITISM: 3.5 Hearts (LOVE) [4 Hearts to Favorite Character xD]

Motivation: (What Made Me Check It Out)
It's by Aki and publish in Zero-Sum WARD... I don't really need to think further xD
Curses: (What Seems to be Bad About It)
Pacing's a little slow... and the story feels lacking at times. There's gotta be more explanation on why the main character's precognition is so big time. And it would be nice to learn more of the other characters; so far only the main character's getting most of the character development.
Praises: (What Seems to be Good About It)
Intriguing way to make to make someone who can see the future enter a dangerous battle in order to save the King. Interestingmix of supernatural/fantasy as well, and it looks like royalties not only involved in combat and politics... but is even exploring science. Pretty cooL~
Bias: (What's Keeping Me Hooked to It)
Tarot cards, divinations, medieval, kingdoms, prince, twins, "angel", .... shet. My kind of stuff~
Fangirl: (What I Love in It)
PRINCE/KING AL!!!!!!! HE'S JUST... LOVE!!!!!!!!!! xD NEW TOP FAVORITE!!! SQUEEEE!!!!
And of course I love the twins xD Such opposites yet they're not exactly in bad terms =3
Nostalgia: (What It Reminds Me of)
+C: Sword and Cornett (medieval fantasy thing... and where the princes are awesome too xD), Olimpos, Utahime (duh)
Overall:
Beautiful artwork and wonderful story. It has a fantastic cast, and I hope they get a chance to shine more. Hopefully the pace doesn't dragon on, or else the mystery it has build up would be put to waste. It's quite a page turner so far, I look forward to seeing more *_*
